Skate Sharpening & Blade Repair
Boyd's has been the go-to store for skate sharpening for the past 40 years.  With their top of the line equipment and knowledge, you will have skates that will fly on the ice.  Are your new skates not fitting correctly?  Be sure to ask about whether or not your skates can be baked to provide a more personalized fit to your foot.  If you end up popping a rivet or breaking a blade don't panic about having to buy a new pair of skates.  Come into the store to see what we can do to fix your holders and blades so that you don't miss a game and can keep your skates in top form.

Prosharp Profiling
Introducing Bauer's new Prosharp profiling, a new way to profile your blades. The new Prosharp system has three different templates that will enhance your skating stride and allow you to be a more explosive skater. No longer are we limited to a single radius, but the Prosharp templates have different radii along the blade in order to create a more explosive stride. Ask anyone at the shop for more information on how we can enhance your skating. 

Summer Cycling Has Never Been So Easy
Whether going out for a family ride over the weekend or joining a group on one of our fantastic local trails, Boyd's is making it easier than ever to get out on a bike. We have a fleet of bicycles in peak condition ready and waiting for you to rent so that you don't miss out on every beautiful day that's perfect for cycling. Rentals are available from April 1st through September 30th so come on in to book your rental today!

Enjoy the ride so much you want to purchase a bike of your own?  No problem!  Your rental fee can be applied to a bicycle purchase in store!

Bicycle Tune-Up and Repair
Is your bike not performing up to it's full potential?  Has it been sitting idle through the winter?  Have a tough ride that has caused damage to your bike?  Come into Boyd's and let our professional mechanics take a look.  We strive to get you back on the road in a timely manner and to ensure that your bicycle performs in top form. 
Regular services include flat tire repair, fork installation and repair, derailleur adjustment and more. 
Full Tune Up Includes: adjusting gears and brakes, true the wheels, check hubs, head, crank, lubricate the chain and a full safety inspection.

Ski and Snowboard Tune Up
Lost the edge on your snowboard?  Boyd's offers downhill ski and snowboard tune ups.  Whether you need your edges sharpened or your cross-country skis waxes, our expert technicians get the job done.
